If you have lived in Woodstock for more than a couple of years, you already know the summer rhythm. Second Saturdays at the amphitheater. A slow drift down Main Street after dinner. A cold one on the Reformation patio while somebody's kid runs laps around the gazebo.
This year is worth paying closer attention to. By the time the concert series wraps in September, the east side of I-575 is scheduled to start opening as a second downtown anchor, and the walking map most residents carry in their heads will need an update. Summer 2026 is the last one where the center of gravity sits entirely on Main.
The Amphitheater Is Doing More Work Than People Realize
The Woodstock Summer Concert Series has quietly outgrown the "cute small-town concert" framing most residents still use for it.
